Snapshots from the wild

Another beautiful spring Saturday spent within the Clyde Muirshiel Park, around the Greenock Cut Visitor Center and, later in the afternoon, on the Garshangen track near Gryffe reservoir. Trees were blooming and small sapling grew along country paths; field were adorned with tiny flowers of bright colors; bees, butterflies and other little creatures reached abroad into the fields, forests and pastures; a wood spider ventured from the hole of a dead tree. And, as the hour grew late, the gibbous moon etched against the cobalt blue sky.
